Great single. I heard this a lot on my local station a couple of years back.
I like the follow-up, "Everytime You Need Me", as well.
Anyone remember this?

A 2-week UK #1.
I love it. I love 'Everytime You Need Me' and 'You Are Alive' too. They did good euro-dance.

Alright... but it was so overplayed here. I prefered "Everytime You Need Me".

I thought I'd heard this song a few times, but I was never quite sure because they didn't announce the title. Does a line in the song go, "I need a miracle," ...something something?

"Let me tell ya you...know...I-i-i-i-i... I need a miracle, I need a miracle... It's more than physical what I need..." (or something like that).

A very good dance song. US radio stations should have played this.

I love this song too. From what I understand, this is a mash of 2 different songs, I think our European posters may know more though.

I love this song too. From what I understand, this is a mash of 2 different songs, I think our European posters may know more though. It started out as a mostly instrumental track by Fragma, "Toca Me"... later, vocals from an older song ("I Need A Miracle" by Coco) were mashed onto it. More details than you'll ever need to know are here: www.soundonsound.com/sos/sep00/articles/tracks.htm :)

This is OK. Not one of my favorite dance songs though.

I knew there was a topic for this somewhere. I liked this song so much when it came out. This song is a really good mashup.
The Miracle Radio Edit is the best version of the song. Not too long, not too short. When I used to DJ parties, I played the Miracle Extended one a lot.
Coco's voice is really good. I like how she sounds on the song.
The original song "I Need A Miracle" was pretty good too. But this took the song to the next level.

I also bought the maxi-single, in January of 2001. I probably overdosed myself on it at the time and listened to it on repeat over and over again. However, to this day I still like it.

lol this topic was brought back from the dead.
I love this song. Fragma seemed to be on a roll (at least for a dance group) but then seemed to disappear. Their latest, "Radio Waves", was really disappointing.

As already mentioned, this peaked at #99 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. I wish it did better and the reason I knew about this song back then was because of KTU.

Great song. I loved Everytime You Need Me too (the Above and Beyond remix of that is fantastic.) I loved You Are Alive and Say That You're Here (Riva remix) too.

Love it. This is one of those odd cases where I actually remember watching Top of the Pops and finding out it was #1 and I have no idea why!
It's really difficult to find the original on YouTube in amongst links to the crappy 2008 remix.

This song originally began life as a bootleg mashup of "I Need A Miracle" by Coco and "Toca Me" by Fragma. It just so happened that both were on the Positiva label in the UK so the guys in Fragma reworked the vocals and the instrumental (slightly) and made an official version of it.
The newer 2008 mixes were just so-so.
DJ/Remixer Peter Rauhofer took the vocals from Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" and put them over the 2008 instrumental of "Toca's Miracle" to make a whole new mashup. Peter said that the mix happened by accident when he was overlaying an acapella over the Fragma song, but he overlayed the wrong one and it just worked. Then he went into the studio and made a proper version of it.
Here's an edit of that:

If only this song would've gotten a fair chance in U.S. radio. It peaked at #50 on the CHR/POP chart back in October 2000. Definitely would've been a top 40. wweb.uta.edu/faculty/gghunt/charts/fragma.htmAt least it reached #99 on the Hot 100.
