Funny, I was just thinking of that song this morning. That was indeed a great song.
Ephraim Lewis's "Drowning In Your Eyes" - now I haven't heard that song in ages! A very relaxing song.
However, I wouldn't really consider "I'm Gonna Getcha Good" that obscure, but that's probably because it wasn't that long ago that it was out. The songs I have mentioned are songs that are at least five years old.
I was in a grocery store a short while ago and Bob Seger's "The Real Love" from 1992 (I think that's the title) came on. After that, "Powerless (Say What You Want)" came on, though I wouldn't really call it obscure. After that went off, Maxi Priest's version of "Wild World" from 1989 came on. I left the store after the song came on, so I don't know what came on after that.
Michael Penn's "No Myth" at CVS (I think I've heard it there before...)
Yeah, on the morning of March 8. I heard it at Old Country Buffet a few weeks ago (yes, I dine there quite often!). And, on President's Day in 2003, I heard it at Walgreen's in Knox, Indiana. Great song!
