This is my favortie Tina Turner song. I thought this song was so briliant and i remember being so young and loving this song (as if i coul drelate to the lyrics). Powerful vocal performance from Tina, and she definately deserved a Grammy for this song. This was her last Top 10 Hot 100 hit, peaking at #9.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised at its success. After her last album yielded two disappointing chart singles ("The Best", which only hit the Top 20 and "Steamy Windows", which missed the R&R chart altogether (and spent but a week on AT40), I didn't think she'd ever have another Top Ten pop hit. Glad I didn't lay any money on it!

Brilliant song, given to her by none other than Sade...
Gorgeous.

It peaked at #2 on the AC chart as Carnie Wilson mentioned on the US Music Survey.

This was actually written by 60's chart topper Lulu, who starred in and had a huge US #1 with "To Sir With Love"

FANTASTIC SONG- yeah, this was a great comeback song for her- although she always sold more in Europe than she did here and she didn't decline there like in the U.S.- she had alot of hits in a short period of time - but I agree that this song might be my favorite of hers.

What an iconic song! I'm listening to it now and it's one of those songs that just makes me stop and brings me back decades. Tina is a legend and should be brought up more around these parts.

Although everyone regards "What's Love Got to do with it" as her signature song, I prefer this simply because I heard the song for the first time after watching her biography and it had a deeper meaning
Add to that the video is simple and breathtaking at the same time

Should have made it to the Top 3, instead of stalling at 9.
