Kathie Lee Gifford - Love Never Fails Hey, since you brought her up, how about Regis Philbin? I seem to remember he put out an album or 2, but no hits!

Rob Zombie is a no hit wonder? I thought he had a few songs chart on rock radio. And actually Bart Simpson is not a no-hit wonder. He's a one hit wonder, at least on the pop chart (Do The Bartman made the top 10 in 1991). :)

The only one I can think of off the top of my head: Ian Hunter - "When The Daylight Comes". I remember hearing this on the radio a lot back in the spring of 1979. Not sure which station, but I was surprised that the song didn't make the charts.

One no-hit wonder is Carrie McDowell, who had a song called "No Casual Sex?" (or something to that effect) in the mid-to-late 80s. There was a group called Da Klash that had a song called "Wasn't I Good To Ya" in the late 80s. Other acts I remember that went hitless (and their most notable songs):
David and the Giants, "Here's My Heart" (was a Christian band, IIRC) TKA, "You Are the One" Rene & Angela, "Safety Love" The Family, "Screams of Passion" Chris Cuevas, "Hip Hop" Slightly Stoopid, "Sweet Honey" (2003) Prefab Sprout, "Appetite" Jill Sobule, "I Kissed A Girl" (though I stand corrected if it actually made the top 40. And for you young'uns, this not the same song Katy Perry sings.)

"Mia Bocca" by Jill Jones, a Prince protegée, in 1987. It was a hit in Europe I think, but didn't do anything in the US.
Also, "Woke Up This Morning" by A3. As the theme song to The Sopranos, one would think it would be a sizeable hit, but it only peaked at #9 on Bubbling Under Hot 100 and at #32 on Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks.

I realize it didn't hit the Billboard Top 40, but it did hit the R&R chart for about a month, peaking somewhere in the mid-30s. From my understanding, it had sporadic airplay and did quite well at most of the stations that played it. Had more stations played it, it probably would have hit the Top Ten. I remember this one. In fact, when Katy Perry released a song of the same title, I thought it was a remake of this one. This song, which was an upbeat alternative song, differed dramatically from Sobule's previous material. She had a Top 20 AC hit in late 1990 called "Too Cool To Fall In Love" That one was a mellow song with a definite smooth jazz flavor to it. Not sure if the other songs on that album (if she even had one) were like that, but I was definitely surprised when I found out that "I Kissed A Girl" was way different from that one.

I guess The Velvet Underground and The Replacements should also belong to this list, then, seeing how a good deal of their songs now find their way into Gold rotation quite a lot, although none of their songs was a substantial hit on their original release.

Michael Fredo - This Time Around (saw the single in a thrift store the other day) I remember that piece of crap, specifically commercials on MTV during the 90s, that's really funny.

"Purest of Pain" by Son By Four Son By Four had only one Top 40 hit in 2000. They are not 'no-hit' wonder, but one-hit.

How about: "Dear Mr. Jesus" by Powersource "Bring Me Edelweiss" by Edelweiss "Baby It's You" by the Beatles "Gone Too Soon" by Michael Jackson "I Go Crazy" by Flesh for Lulu "Nothing But Flowers" by Talking Heads "Barely White" by Rick Dees "Take Me Higher" by Diana Ross "Word Up" by Korn "Psycho Circus" by Kiss "Rock D.J." by Robbie Williams Well, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Talking Heads, Rick Dees (who had only one Top 40 hit on BB Hot 100), Diana Ross, Korn (another artist who had only one Top 40 hit on BB Hot 100) and Kiss have multiple Top 40 hits on BB Hot 100 except Dees and Korn who both considered as one-hit wonder. But Powersource, Edelweiss, Flesh for Lulu, and Robbie Williams are part of no-hit wonders. Robbie Williams is considered a no-hit wonder since his songs never reached to BB Hot 100 Top 40: Angels and Millennium.
