Spies Like Us reached #7 in 1986 and was not only Paul's 100th US chart singles it was also Paul's last top 10 US single until the "new" Beatles recording "Free As A Bird" in 1996

This one doesn't do much for me. Actually the 80s in general might be my least favorite decade when it comes to Paul's music.

McCartney's quality in his songs seemed to be declining in the '80s. "Spies Like Us" sounded like it was thrown together in about 2 minutes. It's just not like the Paul we knew when he was with the Beatles or Wings.
