oh how i did love this song. i think the appeal is how brutally honest the song is. her voice and her lyrics arent trying to be andthing flashy, they are jus as they are. i think the lyrics are FANTASTIC and that imfamous line is jus great. she looks and sounds so cute and its a shame she didnt have anymore success.

Agreed with the F-'s.
And what is this doing in Nostalgia whenever it's not even two years old yet?

i think it's here because the album it comes from is no longer active (at least, i think not).
the verses of this song are really annoying, but I like the chorus.

Got to #7 on my personal chart (and with longevity). Given one of the more infamous lines of this song, I think the parenthetical phrase might hit closer to home than you intended. That being said, this SUCKED. KissFM gave it some spins when it was making its way up the charts, and the only thing it was good for was making a LOT of fun of it. It almost seemed like there was some potential, but the sheer stupidity of the lyrics and her horrendous vocals just killed it. A horrible song by all means.

Oh man, this song was awful. I seem to recall it dropping like a rock once it peaked, which didn't bother me one bit.

Great song with an honest message.
Oh, and I randomly ran into Maria in NYC last summer walking down a street. She was coming back from Letterman and I recognized her so we sparked up a conversation and she spoke with me and my friends for like 10 minutes. She's so nice and when I sang the "Hand between your legs" part back to her, she laughed so hard... hehe.

She has one of the worst voices, EVER. Yes. The song was horrid, the voice moreso. I saw her live **slow shudder** She opened for Hanson. It was BAD. I felt embarassed for her. It was basically her standing in one position, SHRIEKING. Like, she didnt sing, she just screamed in that annoying voice. I think she hit maybe 4 correct notes of the entire set and wow. It was bad. The audience was really quiet during her set and I could see people leaving to go to the merch table or bathroom during her set. The only good thing I can say about it is that she looked cute. She should just...stick to looking cute and NEVER sing EVER.

She had a very amatuerish voice that didn't sound very professional.

I liked this song, but the REAL gem on her album was track #2 "Fragile (Free)" which sounded like something Lisa Loeb should have had a hit with. This could have been a sizeable AC hit if given the chance. Great track.

On vocals alone, this is actually comparable to "All I Wanna Do". I'm dead serious.
Once you add the respective lyrics and song premises, though, then there's a clear divide between the two.
All that said, this song really isn't too bad.
