Penned by her paramour Mick Jagger, this song was a Top ten UK hit and top 30 in the USA. Her delivery is remarkable, it's a pretty straightforward song and she has a sweet voice, but there's just something really creepy about it. You can sort of imagine her comitting suicide after singing it or something. Anyway it's a real classic of the 60's.

I just picked up on CD an album of hers from 79-80 called Broken English. If you're not familiar with it, you may wanna check out the songs "Broken English" "Why'd Ya Do It" and her version of Lennon's "Working Class Hero." For lack of a better description, they're kind of in a post punk dance style, and "Why'd..." is a simply biting bitter breakup song that's almost as graphic as what's coming from the dirty south nowadays.

I have Broken English. It's fantastic. The contrast in her voice is so disturbing.

Very good song. I like it more than the Stones' version.
