I love this beat to this jam! I like when Shaunte raps too
:) It's a cool song... and Channel933 plays it a lot still.

Is it better than "People Like Myself"? That's my favourite Timbaland 'hit'... Too bad it wasn't released as a single over here, because it was one of the biggest hip-hop hits on radio at that time.

I had a little obsession with this song when it came out. Initially, I was like the last person to find out about this song. The other kids at school were all singing it and I was like "what's that song?" They would look at me like I asked them something in another language. And they'd be like, "it's the 'luv 2 luv u' song." I didn't have internet then so I couldn't have easily found it. Anyways, I am just flipping around the dial on the radio and this came on and I finally heard it. I loved it! I then did got a cassette tape and waited until they would play it again so I could record it. How ghetto was that? Anyways, I love this track. The lyrics are so hilarious and that instrumental hook is so addictive.

The remix is good but I prefer the original slow version.

I remember this song very well. The video was all over BET early 98'. This was a pretty big radio hit too (Top 5 Urban, Top 20 Rhythmic). My local station didn't play this that much though. I rarely heard it on the radio. The original mix of this is pretty good too.

I liked this song as it was played on WGCI and B96 on the radio when I was younger. Still like it.

I think about this so often, but I believe I heard this back in 98. The hook sounded so familiar. MTV2 played the music video a lot back in 2003 during their Hip Hop shows. And both the original and remix got spins on a local throwback station that same year.
The original version features female rapper St Nick on the second verse, uncredited hook vocals from Missy, and R&B group Playa on the bridge.

Absolutely love this. Although it always bugged me that Shaunta, at least, doesn't get credited in the video description.
Like she's the first voice that jumps off.

I like it, but I much prefer "Up Jumps Da Boogie" over it.
Magoo sounds so much like Missy, I swear. lol I never truly realized Magoo was in "Up Jumps Da Boogie" because he sounds so much like Missy on that one.
