Taking us back to 1990. This jam was bangin' at some clubs back during my X100 years (when we went from rock 40 to churban). If my memory serves me correctly this song was either in the top 10 or 20 and it was also a club hit (where it might have been--damn I'm getting REAL old!). Here's the jam that might trigger your memory banks. s14.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=32JPVD3OZ39940KC9S74I5K0S4

Love this song!
Peaked at #10 on both the Hot 100 and R&R's pop chart.

Yeah! Great tune from 1990. R&R chart run: 40-35-31-26-19-16-13-12-11-10-11-21-32 I like their follow-up "That's The Way Of The World," which peaked at number 59.

I like this song. Wasn't it in "She Devil"? I doubt it since She-Devil came out in '89 not '90.

I doubt it since She-Devil came out in '89 not '90. So did this song (though it didn't peak until early 1990). Sa-Fire's cover of "I Will Survive" was also heard in She-Devil.

I bought the 12 inch single around Christmas time in 1989 after watching the video at Target. It did not get popular until early the following year (1990). This was Cathy Dennis' first of two number ones on my chart next to "Everybody Move".

Heard this song alot on B96 (mainly as a recurrent/gold selection) and later on as a flashback on defunct Energy 92.7/92.5 when I was younger. One of my all-time favorite 90s dance songs (technically its a 1989 song but it peaked chart-wise in 1990).

This is one of my favorite Cathy Dennis associated songs. It's got such a great hook and the production is ace. I like how it's a good fusion of early House and Dance/Pop. It still sounds fresh today.

This was one of my favorite dance songs as a kid.
The music video is like a comedic behind-the-scenes take of “Every Little Step”. I believe it got spins on BET in 1990.
