This is by far one of my favorite Destiny's Child songs EVER! This song is as hot now as it was when it was released. Its a true R&b classic!!!!!! I remember buying the cd single and wearing it out!!! And this was the 2nd single Kelly sang a lead part on. her 1st was the groups flop 2nd single "with me."
This song is just a classic. I play it regularly now.

My favourite Destinys's Child song. Kelly looked wierd at this stage though. Her haircut was too severe, she looked old.

the lyrics really played into the whole way of man bashing that was going on in the late 90s/early 00s, but the video was fun... the best part of the song is the harmonizing on the chorus though, they did a great job.

I love this song, even though it got old quite fast. For me at least.

Great song, incredibly catchy. The controversy over the lyrics still baffles me-it was obvious to me that they weren't saying they always expected the guy to pay for them, but rather that if he was constantly mooching off of them, he should chip in.

I liked this song at the time, but it sounds incredibly dated already IMO.

I liked this song at the time, but it sounds incredibly dated already IMO. wow. I have ben listening to this all week and it sound sas fresh as it ever did to me. i think its just classic. The production style became over used by Darkchild and Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs later on but i think its stil hot. and the vocals are flawless. This was the pre Diva stage of Beyonce.

This was ok for me. I was surprised at how well it did considering the first album was a huge hit. I loved the WOTW era, it's their best album and nothing they have done since has even came close.

I knew this was going to be a hit as soon as I heard it. Billboard said it was going to flop...Boy were they WRONG!

Awful. I can't believe this junk is a #1 song for them.

I didn't really like this song that much when it came out because it was terribly overplayed. I only recently got back into this song after enough time had passed. And I dug out that Maurice Joshua mix that store, er, sampled the Thunderpuss hook from "It's Not Right But It's Okay."
The lyrics were really fun. All these artists had songs out with similar subjects at that time.

Reminds me of the summer of 1999. This was one of the few songs I would listen to on the radio. The video was hot. Who knew Destiny's Child would blow up after this.

This is their worst single imo. The lyrics are on a level way beyond bad, even for them, to the point where the production can't salvage it. Astounding to think that this is from the same project as Say My Name and Jumpin' Jumpin, now those were great songs.
