Inspired by the discussion in the music news Madonna thread.
One of my top Madonna songs, and my favorite video by any artist EVER.

Well I already said it's overrated, and the video is too. Why is that video praised so much? All they did was film some stuff and speed it up.

The video was pretty good but the song was incredibly irritating

I loved it when it first came out, but it got old fast. I got the the Ray Of Light album as a birthday gift, and I'm so glad I didn't pay for it! There's only 3 good songs on it!

This was my least favorite Madonna single from Ray of Light.

And to think it won the VMA for Video of the Year. I think that was MTV's way of giving Mrs. Ritchie a retirement gold watch.

Great album, though I really got tired of this track. I still love "Frozen" and "The Power Of Goodbye".

Not my favorite single of the album (that would be Power of Goodbye) but this song is still great.

All they did was film some stuff and speed it up. because it fits so perfectly with the song. te song is called "ray of light" everything is moving incredibly fast in the video and she is standing in the middle of it. The concept was great and dead on with the song.

I often here this on my local modern-AC station. It sounds out of place, but I love the song. :)

I like it alright, but I like "Frozen" and "The Power Of Goodbye" way more as far as singles go.

I really like it. It has energy, and her voice has never been better than on this song

I like the singles on this album, save The Power of Goodbye. It's very close between this and Frozen.
I wasn't really into Nothing Really Matters until I saw the video a few times last year during that week on MTV Hits where they had nothing but Madonna.

Really good.
Definitely something I wouldn't usually like... well that whole album.... I definitely wouldn't have gave it a listen unless it was Madonna.... and I love it!
The video does seem very overrated compared to her other classic videos.

I really, really loved this at the time. I never was crazy about the video though; it initially made me dizzy even I'm not quite as crazy about it now, but maybe that's because I like "Frozen" so much (sidenote: Many of her fans seem to like "Power" better, but for some reason, I think I like "Frozen" a lot more). As well as the majority of the album.

I also think this is overrated, especially the video. I like A LOOOOT more "Frozen", that IS really a gem!.

No. 3 on my Madonna list of best tracks. Fantastic energy, great delivery from M and it just is one of the most hopeful/life-embracing upbeat tunes out there.
The video is most notable for its editing- there was never anything that move at that speed before. It really was qucker than a ray of light! ;)

I like it but there were probably a handful of other songs better on the album. Very energetic and dancey. The video was spectacular.
