I don't know if this has been posted yet. I was watching a re-run of Making the Video and they were featuring this. I think this is the best song on Ricky Martin's Sound Loaded cd even though Christina isnt on the album version. She just made it better! Great collaboration! I liked it okay when it was out. I can't stand it now.

I was disappointed that this had the success I was hoping "Could I Have This Kiss Forever" to have. I do kinda like it though. I think it's one of Christina's best vocal performances, strong but not as overdone as some of her stuff.

I always thought this was sort of mediochre. Nothing I'd go out of my way to listen to.

Perfect word to describe it! Just, without the 'h'. ;)

As much as I loved her in Lady Marmalade, I must say that I enjoyed her vocals in the song a lot more...funny how both were nominated for the same grammy in the same year

I was really into this song when it was released. I was a huge Christina fan back then (and still am, for the record), and I used to watch MTV just to see the video for this (Yes, a time when MTV actually played videos! Isn't is amazing?!). I kept trying to film it, but I never could. :'(
Anyway...if I had been charting at the time, this would've been #1 for numerous weeks. I was really into this song. :o

His duet with meja was vastly superior. I second that! "Private Emotion" remains one of my favorite songs of all time!

Possibly the best thing either of them have ever done. It hit #4 (I think) on my personal chart in 2001, and even today it hasn't lost much of its appeal, if any.

What was the point of Ricky even being on this track? Christina stole the entire song from him each time. He was so unecessary. But it was his song first, so....

I like it more now than when it was out. Same here. I remember when it came out, I thought it was nice but not too impressive, but listening to it now, I actually love it.

I need a dislike button. How DARE you Slizzard. LOL the song is obvs very dated because its sound is tied to the time it was made, but DAMN does it still sound like a total jam now!
