Thanks to Gil (see Uncle Kracker thread), I can now post this week's AT20. I fell asleep during the last hour (I knew I would, since I was up in Michigan last night for the Niles Haunted House, said to be one of the best in the country, but I was back in WLIT listening range (if I was ever out, LOL) by 9:00 so I could listen to the show), so I missed the Top Two, but Gil pointed out what was number one so I was able to deduce what was number two and - well, enough rambling on...

Long Distance Dedications:
Forever Young/Rod Stewart (from a fan to Shirley Muldowney, a retiring drag racer)
You'll Be In My Heart/Phil Collins (from a mother who made a hard decision by letting her young teenage daughter live with her dad ("Reba", anyone?))
Man In The Mirror/Michael Jackson (from a freshman to her history teacher, who helped her become more sociable)
AT20 Archives:
2001: Never Had A Dream Come True/S Club 7
2002: Complicated/Avril Lavigne
1996: It's All Coming Back To Me Now/Celine Dion
1994: Circle Of Life/Elton John
1983: All Night Long (All Night)/Lionel Richie
Note: Since I fell asleep before the top two (I stuck a tape in at the beginning of Hour 1), I missed the story leading into the number one song. Was it about how Uncle Kracker tied the record for staying at number one the longest? If so, if someone could give me a detailed account of how the story went, that would be great.
If it was just another ho-hum story about Uncle Kracker and/or Dobie Gray, never mind. Thanks in advance.
