I'm not a Madonna fan at all but I really liked/like this song. I think it performed best out of all the other singles from "ROL" on the charts and IMO it's the best single, she's ever released. Hopefully, she'll come better next time...

Awesome song. This song single-handedly got me into Madonna. Hit #1 on my chart for five weeks, and still remains one of my all-time favorites.

This song is fantastic! Very atmospheric.. and I loved the video. Different for Madonna. She was great back in the day.. now she sings boring songs like "American Life" and "Hollywood".. *shudder*

Utterly timeless and a stunning commercial and creative comeback. Hopefully the deserved failure of 'American Life' will give her the hunger to create something as good as this in the future.

One of my favorite Madonna singles! I really just wish she wouldn't have acted so spiritual at the time.

This is the last song by her I really liked. I think I have to agree with you on this. "Frozen" was Madonna's last #1 on my personal chart. She hit the top ten with "Don't Tell Me" and "Me Against The Music" but neither of them compare to "Frozen"

This reminds me of when I got my new car in the spring of 1998. :) Anyway, I love it! Definitely one of Madonna's best.

Love it. Aside from "The Power Of Goodbye", I don't think I've really liked any of her songs since.

This and Ray of Light are the only two Madonna songs I really like anymore.

I thought this was an amazing track when it came out. I still love it. The Original Mix is quite beautiful. I think Madonna sounded excellent on it.
The Stereo MCs Remix was really good too. It had a very East Indian feel to it. And the Extended Club Mix by Victor Calderone was an epic track. The vocals were left untouched and they sounded great. The few loops and vocal manipulations were cool.

I like it, but it's never been one of my favorites. The haunting/cinematic strings are the best thing about the track, and I like the concept of saying someone's frozen (whether she was talking to someone else, talking about herself, etc.)

This is my favorite Madonna ballad, with "I'll Remember" and "Live To Tell" just behind it. I thought it deserved to go #1 for a week at least but the competition was really fierce at the time and 1998 was such a strong year for music IMO that a song like this got overshadowed. The video for this is one of her best ever.

The song was alright for me, but she has much better ballads than this. And talk about a quick rise/quick fall song (on pop)...

One of the few songs I liked because of the video. Chris Cunningham is pure class.
