Their debut hit. A multi-week #2 in 1991.
This is one of the worst songs of the 90s.
Although...would anyone know what remixes of this song exist? Because today WIOG played a mix of this song that wasn't that bad (actually, it was pretty good), and I can't recall hearing it before.[/font]

I thought this song was pretty stupid, too. It was so repetitive. And the hollering voice during the chorus, saying "I KNOW YOU'RE NOT GOING TO PLAY THIS SONG!" was sooooo annoying!

This song wasn't a big hit because it was good. It was a hit because it was so blatantly ridiculous. Gotta admit that I did own this song at one time.

I loved this song! There were two main versions that got airplay: the one in the video ("Come inside take off your coat, I'll make you feel at home..."), and the one that (I think) was played on AT40 ("Hey, beautiful lady, I need you tonight..."). Both are on the CD single.

There's several remixes on the single though, so it might be one of those that you heard.

the video for this is hideous I loved when Beavis & Butthead made fun of the way the group members looked in it... "Look, there's George Michael, Kenny G, and Snow. Huh-huh..."

This is brutal. Timberlake's "Dick in a Box" is what Color Me Badd should've been.

Hated it then, hate it now.
This would up being ranked #2 on Billboard's 1991 year-end chart.

This appeared on the New Jack City soundtrack first right?
This has always come across as a parody of NKOTB hits from the late '80s/early '90s.

I Loved it and still do. Sure it's a little cheesy but so were a lot of songs during that era. I was 14 at the time so to me it was cool.

The only thing I see when I hear this song is that striptease scene in New Jack City
