Jomanda were one of the groups trying to capitalize on the early 90's R&B girl group explosion. They had tight harmonies like En Vogue with a dance vibe. This was their biggest hit. Steve "Silk" Hurley did a popular remix of this song that topped the club play chart in 1991. Their only other hit was a cover of DeBarge's "I Like It" two years after this one came out.

This one of the few house records that I can not only tolerate but like, let alone. As a matter of fact I like Jomanda's style overall!

Wow I forgot about them. This was during the retro dance era with artists such as C&C music Factory, CeCe Peniston, Robin S, Snap, Black Box. I use to love this time. Got a Love For You was a nice dance cut.

Amazing track. I've always really liked Steve "Silk" Hurley's productions/remixes. I assume his mix was the main version because it's the one that pops up when you search for the song and an edit was used for the video.
I don't think I've ever listened the original album mix

One of my favorite 90s house/dance records. This song got heavy airplay on WBBM-FM "B96" Chicago back then and WGCI also played it as well. One of the best Steve Hurley-produced tracks of the 1990s. By the way, there's an older thread on this song and this should merge with it. pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/75737/got-love-jomanda
