This is one hell of an underrated pop song. From her massively succesful 'Physical' album, despite the top 5 successes of the title track and Make A Move On Me, this stalled at #52.
It's my favourite song from the abum though. I never liked Physical much. I can see how it's kind of a classic but it always seemed very tacky and crass to me. This was much much better.
I love the scream at the end. That woman could sing!

The quirky and humorous video.

The fact the song has no real hook can easily explain why it went nowhere. The general public that hears music on the radio would pass by this song because it just really doesnt have anything that interesting to offer.

It has more of a hook than Tied Up which got 14 places higher up the Billboard chart. I always thought they pulled the plug on it for Heart Attack / Greatest Hits Vol 2 era because that was on the chart within a couple of weeks of Landslide peaking to get Xmas sales.....

Loved Olivia Newton John. I always thought this was highly underrated. Great tune and she was incredible in this video. If memory serves me correct, she made a video for every song on the Physical album.

Pounding tune! I always loved the lyrics, 'My minor desires turned to major needs, my needs won't be denied'

Debuted at #82 on the Billboard Hot 100 40 years ago this week in 1982.

RIP Olivia.
Truth be told, I probably listen to this song more than anything else of hers.
