I think I'll go for a walk outside now... the summer sun's calling my name!
I love Marcia's part. too bad they didnt include it in the movie. Did you ever go to Sears and pretend you were one of the BRADY KIDS?

Back in 1999 or 2000, Z100 had a parody of this called "Rosie's Gay" about Rosie O'Donnell.

I don't know why, but I like almost all of the Brady Kids songs (there was one that I didn't like at all, though - might have been "We Can Make The World A Whole Lot Brighter" (with Peter's voice cracking while trying to sing it)), but my favorite was the one that opened up the "Adios Johnny Bravo" episode, "You've Got To Be In Love To Love A Love Song". I just loved the beat and the chord progressions.
"Sunshine Day" was pretty good, too.

The same thing will probably happen to you if you sing "Good Time Music" in the aisle of an airplane.

Well, they won't boot you off the airplane, but they will tell you to sit down and shut up. ;)

Well, they won't boot you off the airplane, but they will tell you to sit down and shut up. ;) Yeah, and the passengers will sigh with relief and one of them will mutter, "It's about time!"

Is it me or did some of us get lost in the 70s and stayed there? In the movie, that song really won Davey Jones and the other judges over (take that, Simon!) at a talent contest. I had to admit, that song really did it to me. And now I can't believe I'm actually humming to it.....darn!

The Brady Bunch Kids songs never made Billboard's Hot 100, but one of the Brady Bunch Kids' albums did make Billboard's 200 album chart (Meet the Brady Bunch - 1972).

Me & 5 friends went to Sears and sang this and got booted out! Wow! That reminds me of something I hadn't thought of in many years. I was in high school when Queen's We Will Rock You was a hit. For a while, there was a fad among groups of kids of spontaneously breaking into a stomp-stomp-clap thing while walking around, seated at a student assembly or pep rally, etc. At Metrocenter Mall (THE mall in Jackson back then), we found a spot on the upper level where, if there were at least about 4 kids stomping like hell, the vibrations could be felt all the way at the other end. Thinking back on it, I guess we really made pests of ourselves sometimes.

I watched repeats of the Brady Bunch when I was a child and even watched the 1990s reboot films. That said, I could not stand this song. It's one of those songs that gets stuck in your head and you can't get it out of it.
