This was my favorite Amy Grant song. The "Heart And Soul" mix was especially good.

This was my favorite Amy Grant song. The "Heart And Soul" mix was especially good. Yep it's the single version that I most remember. Who is she talking about anyway, her then-husband or the Holy Spirit. My guess may have been both. Anyway, it's a great song. The song that hit number one on my charts from the same album was "I Will Remember You", as matter of fact it debuted at number one.

Cool song. I could never remember which version was the radio version and which was the album version because the radio stations near me played both.
I think they started with the radio version and moved to the album version after the song peaked. I liked the first version they played better than the second.

It peaked at #2 on the AC chart. I guess you must've heard it on the U.S. Music Survey this weekend. :)

Like the album version because of the bass sound.
A edit of the album version, is on her " Greatest Hits cd. A bonus cd with it has the "7 Body And Soul mix" of Every Heartbeat.
2 Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

i think it was cool that you can view the video on her dvd using the different remixes. LOL.
her entire album is great actually... pure pop goodness. "good for you" is probably my favorite track from it. ;)

^^ I think you mean "Good For Me". Anyhow, I like "Every Heartbeat". I like the album version better, though.

Love it. Only "Baby Baby" exceeds my love for this. All the upbeat singles from Heart In Motion were good though. I miss the happy upbeat classic pop songs like this myself.

I love it and I also miss the days when Pop music could just be happy and didn't need to be cool. Baby Baby was huge here, got to #2, but this one was a flop. It stalled at #22 and she didn't crack the top 40 again until 'Big Yellow Taxi' got to #20.

I love it and I also miss the days when Pop music could just be happy and didn't need to be cool. I agree wholeheartedly. Nowadays, all Pop music plays is either hip-hop/rap or rock/alternative. If this song were released today, Pop stations wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole. I really liked "Every Heartbeat". It sounded a little like music from the late 1970s, such was the case with several other early 90s music. I liked every song from "Heart In Motion" (although I did get tired of "I Will Remember You" rather quickly. But I like this song, "Baby Baby", "Good For Me" and "That's What Love Is For". I haven't heard any of the other songs from the album, but I'll bet they're equally as good.

Great song, greater remix, and fun video. The actress playing the mechanic at first glance looks like Shannen Doherty....

Listening to the single version of "Every Heartbeat" by Amy Grant on a rainy morning. Amy and Brown Bannister made unpretentious Pop music and I love them for it. My kid used to dance to "Baby Baby" and this one whenever it would come on the radio. No.2 on the Hot 100 and on the Adult Contemporaty chart in 1991.

My 2nd favorite Amy Grant song after "Baby Baby". This was played alot on the AC stations (such as Lite FM 93.9 in my market). Also gotten airplay on B96 (which strangely didn't play "Baby Baby" on its regular programming excluding syndicated programs like the station was carrying at the time. such as Casey's Top 40.)

I've been playing the Heart in Motion singles on repeat ever since the 30th anniversary version came out. I think I love this one as much as "Baby Baby."
