I liked it at first but it's really been overplayed in the last few years.

I recently re-listened to this song and found a new perspective on it....it's hard to explain, but I hear the melody differently now and I like it....For me, it was "meh" when it was released....Sorta annoying...but I didn't hear it for a long time until recently.

This jam! Love the first verse where the end of every line is drawn out. And the chorus is so simple, yet infectious.
Shake it like a polaroid picture.

I'll never get sick of this song. It still sounds so good when blaring this in the car.

In early '04, I got completely sick of it, but other than that, I loved it then and now.

"Shake it like a polar bear ninja!" It was HUGE in late 2003, didn't age well for me though.

"Shake it like a polar bear ninja!" lol, it's "Shake it like a Polaroid picture" I share everyone's sentiment. Good song, but it got SO OVERPLAYED to the point to where I still kind of cringe everytime I hear it. It's still good, though I just can't listen to it much. "Hips Don't Lie" is the same way.

"Shake it like a polar bear ninja!" lol, it's "Shake it like a Polaroid picture" I know it, just pointed out a common misheard lyric. :) I always heard that (the polar bear ninja) so I can relate.

I was so annoyed by this song in 2003. Probably because it was neck and neck with Bey's first two singles back when I was a Beymaniac I appreciate it now though.

#1 15 years ago today. Would be Casey’s last AT40 #1 and Ryan’s first.

One of Outkast's best songs despite the overplay. This is due how experimental it sounds compared to the typical rap/hip hop sound of the time. The music video is also memorable. In my market, this was played on B96, 103.5 Kiss FM, and 101.9 the Mix. The latter was more shocking as I never expected a Hot AC/Adult Top 40 station to play this song let alone anything from a rap artist/group. Also, they played a version that edited out the lyrics "Make you wanna come of", which made the song sound awkward. I don't think the urban stations in my market (WGCI and WPWX Power 92) played this one though.

I dare you to tell me that there’s a more iconic 2000s song.

This was a smash on the radio in 2003-04. I kind of play it less because of the overplay at radio. I used to hear it KIIS FM (Pop/CHR), 100.3 The Beat(Urban), Power 106(Churban) and 102.3 KJLH (Adult R&B) back in 2003-04. Even though I dislike the song it does bring back good memories of when I was in 5th Grade.

this instantly teleports me to the early core 2000's vibe of winter 2004. Such a unique song, no one could imitate it and no one really tried
