Not really for me. The only song that's associated with a memory of mine that hasn't since turned into garbage is "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service and that's still not old enough to get nostalgic over.

When I look back at songs from like 1998-2002 I just wish I was paying attention to the charts at the time. Although, it was kind of cool being somewhat oblivious.

"Mickey" makes me want to go back to the early-mid 80s when the "Friday the 13th" movies were still supposed to be scary.

Almost all of the R&B hits from the early 90's when I was in elementary/middle school and thought I was grown.

A little bit off topic. but Chris, how could you buy a brand new Plymouth Acclaim in 2001? I believe 1995 was the last year for the Acclaim. Bought a brand new one myself in 1993. Loved the car until some guy clopped it. Wow, I can't believe I never saw this post. Anyway, actually, it wasn't brand new, per se. But it was brand new to me, especially compared to the 1980 Cutlass I had been driving before. So it was a used car. I believe it was a 1993 model, like yours. Moreover, I only had that car for two years because I kept having problems with it. It kept cutting out on me. I'd be driving along and noticed that I couldn't give the car any gas. Then, the steering column would lock up and the engine would cut out. Usually it would eventually start back up, but there were two times I had to have the thing towed. Luckily, both of those times, the car had chosen a convenient place. The first time was on State Highway 23, where I sat and waited for a cop car. The second time, I was just about two blocks from my house. Thank God I wasn't out in the middle of nowhere (as you may have guessed, I do not have a cellphone. I should probably get one.) Anyway, now I have a 1998 Mercury Tracer. So far, it hasn't given me any problems (knock on wood!)

I've been tossing the idea around in my head lately that I would have liked to live through the Rumours era in 1977.

My top 3 would be: TLC - No Scrubs Britney Spears - Sometimes Aaliyah - Try Again Does it make me old if I can still remember the times during when these were hits? Still remember that I was like "ooooh!" when Try Again was the first song to top the Hot 100 on just airplay.

No Doubt's hit album: "TRAGIC KINGDOM" Nippy's 'So Emotional' Yoncé's 'Crazy in Love' & 'Naughty Girl' Madonna's 'Into The Groove'
