A #1 hit in 1989, it was the first hit for the band which consisted of former Babys members John Waite and Randy Phillips; and Journey members Neal Schon, Jonathan Caine and future Journey-man Deen Castronovo.
I love this song a lot. I do get to hear this on AC radio every now and then.

This song rules , but it's not their best . The first album was full of potential hit singles , Forget Me Not is my favorite of theirs.

I used to love this song, but overplay sort of killed it.
The song I liked by them was the underrated "Possession" from the summer of 1990, although that did peak at #10 on R&R, yet it petered out at #21 on BB. That sort of peak difference was out of place for that era. More like a 1982 disparity.

Another one of those songs where the Monster Ballads commercial instantly comes to mine. Occasionally heard this on the AC stations back then. Decent tune.
