I can't believe there isn't a thread for this? :o
This is absolutely one my favorite Christina songs! Her vocals are beautiful and the video was incredibly sexy.

This was a hot song! When I first heard this song on the radio, I knew that the singer of it was going to be a big star. And boy was I right! Everytime they would announce Christina's name on the radio for that song, I would always try to remember her name, but then I would always forget for some reason. Once I got the CD single, I had a hard time forgetting.
There was this alternate mix that some radio stations played of "Genie In A Bottle." It wasn't a dance mix. It was an urban-sounding mix. Wild 94.9 and the now defunct Z95.7 used to play it. Someone may know which one I am referring to.

I still love this. Reminds me of being 15 and having my first job at a museum. We would constantly talk about this song.

I like the ending where it sounds like she says "Come on and meow."

I lurved this song so much. I have a lot of memories from back in 99' about this song. The feedback for it was just amazing. I remember going to this isolated part of New York and visiting this karaoke bar one night with family when it came on over the speakers and I remember saying, "it's the song I keep hearing on the radio! Who is this?" and of course everyone else in the place was asking the same question.

I loved this then and still like it! I didn't get her album until "What A Girl Wants" was released, though.

I liked it back then, but am now indifferent towards it. Hasn't held up as well as "What A Girl Wants"

I do like this song. Her singles, on a whole, are a lot more interesting that Britney's.

I still like this. Chirstina's voice sounds great. I've always thought that her voice sounded best during her debut, and it's weakest on Stripped. She sounds great on Back To Basics though. Still, I think her best vocal performance was on "We're A Miracle" the studio version which I think was only released in Japan.

A modern-day pop classic.

I like it, it's catchy. But, I probably like "Come on Over Baby" (singe version) the best of the debut's singles.
