I still really love this song. I could listen to it a million times and still not be tired of it.
It's really good to dance to, too.
I saw a commercial for Herbie Fully Loaded, which made me think of Herbie Hancock, which made me think of this song, hahahaha. Kind of six degrees of seperation there.
Anyway. You just want to move when you hear it.

This really a classic song... But how can you go wrong with that great Herbie Hancock track behind you?

Great track from a true one-hit wonder.
Seriously, anyone ever heard another song by US3?

Great track from a true one-hit wonder. Seriously, anyone ever heard another song by US3? They had a song a few years ago but I forgot the title.

They're still releasing remixes of Cantaloop, over 10 years later.

Great track from a true one-hit wonder. Seriously, anyone ever heard another song by US3? This tune reached #9 in 1994 and yes I've heard other tunes from US3 including Tukka Yoot's Riddim

Gerard Presencer (trumpeter) is amazing! Cantaloop is Blue Note's first gold single; Hand on the Torch is their first platinum album.

Classic. They should've had more hits. I wish there still were tracks like this on Urban radio.

This song takes me back. I always thought it was released earlier than 93. I still like it.

This song takes me back. I always thought it was released earlier than 93. I still like it. It was originally released in the fall of 1992. I used to find it a bit annoying at the time, but I have grown to like it.

I love this. I downloaded the album for the first time last year and it's pretty good too, although this is probably the best song on it.

Didn't know who it was by or what it was called but in 1997, the Houston market still had it on the CHR/pop station as a recurrent/gold.
I think it's pretty cool that Blue Note had a hip hop act at the time, but the jazz rap thing is very early 90s.

I heard this song during commercials but didn't know the name of the song until much later. I heard it on the radio one time in the early 2000s and loved it. I found out that my top 40 station (b96 in Chicago) actually played it back in late 93/early 94 but I didn't remember them actually playing it. Very unique during its time and very few songs sounded like it when it came out.

Of all great jazzrap tracks from US in the 90ies, this UK group has success, thankfully Digable Planets entered top 40 as well, but really - where is A Tribe Called Quest, De la Soul or Pharcyde in the top 40?

I remember hearing this one in Mary Kate and Ashley's movie "It Takes Two" back in the 90s, and also in commercials. Never knew the name of the song til I came across it in the polls. Great song. Pretty iconic.
