10 years ago, all I heard was the Dupri mix and thought it was cool. Didn't actually hear the original until like '07. I prefer the original.

This is one of my favorite Janet singles from the 00's.
It's such a feel-good song. Love the sample and her look in the video too. :)
The JD remix blows.

But what do you guys think of the Total 80's Remix by Jam & Lewis?

I would say this is my favorite Janet single from the 2000's. It's such a feel good song. The remixes were nice, the So So Def was good, but I LOVE the Hex Hector mix! <3

It's good, but honestly not that good. I definitely prefer "Doesn't Really Matter" and "All For You". I'm surprised it seems to be so well-liked here.

This is probably her best single from 00's, and one of her best singles period. This is light-hearted saccharine pop perfection.

I enjoy this- probably my favorite of the three AFY singles. She was unaware of America's "Ventura Highway"- it was Jimmy Jam/terry Lewis who brought it to her attention. On a sidenote, part of the music to "Let's Wait Awhile" bears similarity to the group's "Daisy Jane."
This was Damita's last visit to the Hot 100's top 10.

It's good, but honestly not that good. I definitely prefer "Doesn't Really Matter" and "All For You". I'm surprised it seems to be so well-liked here. That's how I feel about "All For You," while I find "Someone to Call My Lover" very underrated (not here, but in general). I think they both were going for the light-hearted fun pop vibe, and I think this song does it better.

I was never into this song that much. I was a little surprised with all the love it's getting here. I thought it became a hit more because of All For You than because of the song it self. Mabey that's a little extreme but I was always a little surprised just how well it did on the Hot 100.

This is a good one from Janet...IMO her last truly good single, and one of two songs I actually got into on All For You. After the Velvet Rope I was super disappointed with that album- did not live up to my expectation...

I understand from a musical or arrangement perspective but the lyrics basically neuter that for me. "Doesn't Really Matter" though.. I was kind of neutral at the time and think it's one of my least favorite Janet singles. I'd put "All for You" at about the level of this song.
I think "Rock With U" was her best solo single since "You."

This came up on shuffle yesterday and I was reminded how much I really love this song. When that intro kicks in with the guitar riff, I still get a bit excited. Great song.

This was always a really cute song, but it's not one of my favs. I can't say I revisit it much. I've liked so many more of her subsequent singles more. I'd rank "I Want You," "All Nite," "SEx," "Feedback," "Rock Wit U" and "Make Me" above this.

Love it. Such a feel good summer song. Never would have believed this would be her last big hit.

I just have been re-visiting STCML this morning- it's definitely my favorite song of the All For You album. It's so much more laid back and has aged better than a lot of her other big hits, really feel good pop music.
The guitar, slight twang reminds me of "Don't Tell Me" from around the same time.

Still sounds great after over a decade. The JD and 80s remixes are cool.

This was so over-played at its radio peak.... And I loved every second of it.

I liked this more than AFY, but not as much as DRM. It's aged better than most of the album (the turn of the millennium production hasn't held up well at all), but that's not saying much.
If you had told me once this was done that she would never have a major hit again, I wouldn't have believed you for a second. It's still crazy just how fast her fortunes turned.
