Which version you referring to? The Footsteps In The Dark version or the Let's Do It Again version?

By far the best single Ice Cube ever released. Still wasn't anything special. I much prefer him as an actor

Back when Cube could still pull off the whole gangsta image. From arguably his last relevant album.
A classic. One of my favorite hip hop songs of all-time. Although the hardcore first single, "Wicked," rivals this as my all-time favorite Cube song.
I know all the words to this. They were surprisingly easy to memorize. I don't know why. The video was great, too. I saw it on The Box all the time, but when MTV showed it, they cut off the crucial ending. BET plays the full clip, though. I say "crucial," because the end of the video sets the stage for the "Check Yo Self" video, which followed that summer.

I didn't know who did this song until I just watched that video clip. Jam it is!

He didn't even have to use his A.K. I would call that a good day too.

I still know all of the words to the song. This song and Dr. Dre's 'Dre Day,' used to run on MTV back then.

I have never really liked this song all that much, even though it is generally considered a rap classic...

I wasn't listening to music yet when this was out, but in years to come I finally knew what this is and since then I've loved it. It's one of my favorites from Ice Cube.

It Was A Good Day reached #15 in 1993 and was Ice Cube's biggest pop hit

What a JAM! This is my life anthem! Yes, it is. This is as classic as early 90's hip hop gets, IMO. Immortal JAM!

This is my favorite Ice Cube song. I remember I used to know all the words and as a result he becamse my first celeb crush. "Footsteps In The Dark" is a classic R&B jam so it's easy to love this song. Plus the lyrics are witty and laid-back.

This is his most popular single and it's definitely a 90's Hip-Hop classic. I love both versions of this song.

This song is timeless. This and "Check Yo Self" are the only songs from him that I absolutely love. Definitely one of the best hip hop songs of the 90s.

There was some internet buzz generated about this song recently when someone claimed they figured out the exact date Ice Cube was rapping about.

Loooove the sample! Usher uses the same sample in his song "One Day You'll Be Mine".

The best song he ever did. Heard this song a lot on B96 and WGCI back in the day.
