I never really paid attention to this one.. heard it a couple times and felt like it was such a throwaway single for him. The interpolation in "Cold Heart" made me take a second look. Still not one of his better singles, but it's catchy.

Didn't know of it until I heard it on a 1983 episode of AT40. It's decent. Reminds me of his big hit from that year "I'm Still Standing" (which I liked).

I've always liked this. There are "A" Elton John singles. This is one of his "B" ones. 40 years ago this week, "Kiss The Bride" debuted at #60 on the August 6th, 1983 Billboard Hot 100. Top Of The Pops Live in 1984: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiss_the_Bride_(song)#17 Ireland #20 UK
