Does anyone remember the music video for this, with the four members of ATC in red jumpsuits and a toy car going around a Hot Wheels track? Talk about low budget eurocheese at its finest.

I had always wanted to play this out at the bar, but always figured people would find it too cheesy at this point, so I avoided it. But a few weeks ago, one of the bouncers said I should play it, so I went ahead and tried it out. People still seem to love this song. I play it every other week now. There's just some songs that are always fun to bring back like this one.
Peace, Ben

This is a fun song. Albeit a little cheesey, but a little cheese every now and then can be fun.
I never liked the album/single version. The Extended Mix on the vinyl single was soooo much better.

Ugh just reading the title of this has the melody of this song stuck in my head, it's okay in low doses... but also kind of obnoxiously catchy.

Of course, one reason I still like this song is that it takes me back to the spring of 2001 and you all know the story about that! No, what happened? BTW, this song came back in a Top 40 sample a few years ago in Auburn's "La La La."

It has that timeless pop feel to it. Reminds me of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", most likely because of the lalas. Obviously this poster is gone, but I'm quoting because I used to get these songs mixed up as a kid. Though once I stopped getting them mixed up, for some reason I made the decision that Kylie's song was annoying, while this one was great. I still like this, but now that I've re-evaluated things, "Can't Get You Out of My Head", now one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite artists, is definitely more appealing to me.

I love it. Great, fun europop song. I remember, there was this one remix of it that I heard them play once on the dance radio station during the early 2000s. The remix had a piano lead over the main melody that sounded very different from the melody in the original, it sounded a little more dramatic. I LOVED this version but I haven't been able to find it anywhere that I looked. If only I knew the name of that remix...

"My heart beats like a drum (Dum dum dum dum dum)". They basically replace the 'las' with 'dums' I heard that on Sirius XM under a year ago. I have no idea when the last time I heard this on the radio was. Massively massively massive in Germany though. Massively popular especially in Germany I read it became the most overplayed song in German radio history. I wonder if the "la"s helped it be popular among people who don't know English. I love it. Great, fun europop song. I remember, there was this one remix of it that I heard them play once on the dance radio station during the early 2000s. I LOVED this version but I haven't been able to find it anywhere that I looked. If only I knew the name of that remix... I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but Grooveshark had a version that started the same but the instrumental after the chorus was worse. Grooveshark admitted to not compensating artists and voluntarily shut down, presumably to avoid being sued. I saw a sped up version on TikTok, so this song is known by kids who are younger than the song. I think it would be a funny competition if people tried to sing this and get the timing right with when to pause. While people are stuck home, it could be a good time to do it. I complain that many songs are repetitive, but I love this song that says "la" so many many times. Her vocals make the "la"s sound differently.

I heard it on the radio in 2001 I think. I went through a lot of remixes of that track and I still couldn't find it. It was a really cool remix...

I remember hearing this song alot on defunct dance station Energy 92.7/92.5 in 2001/2002 though I wasn't too crazy over it. The song was also played on B96 though I don't remember actually hearing it (outside of mixes) as every other song that station played back the was either a hip hop song or R&B song and were years removed from their dance-heavy days of the early-to-mid 1990s. I don't remember if 103.5 Kiss FM ever played this song as I didn't listen to that station as much as Energy or B96. Nowadays, I am more appreciative of this song.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually prefer Ava Max's sample in My Head & Heart better because she gives more variety of melodies compared to the original which is basically one melody for 3 minutes. That being said, I still like listening to the original sometimes, it has a cool mystical feel to it.
