I hate this song with a passion due to overplay on the radio and the repetitive guitar riff at the beginning. I always remember hearing this on the radio for some strange reason. Although this song charted #1 on the mainstream top 40 charts, Chicago didn't have a major mainstream top 40 station and B96, being a dance-heavy rhythmic top 40 station, never played the song at all (outside its appearance in Casey Kasem's syndicated countdown show "Casey's Top 40" which B96 was carrying at the time) I'm guessing 101.9 the Mix, 100.3, Q101 (during its growing pains as an alternative rock station although they would had played this song had they kept their Hot AC/Adult Top 40 format) and WXRT played this song. Likely was tooo poppy for defunct 103.5 the Blaze (hard rock/glam metal station at the time) and defunct 97.7 The Loop.
There's a Twizzlers commercial running right now that plays this song as some guy wonders if he's too old to be skateboarding. Thanks for reminding me how much I hated this song, Twizzlers!

28 years ago today, "Two Princes" by Spin Doctors reached its peak position on the Hot 100 Singles chart at No.7. It was the second single from their 1992 album "Pocket Full Of Kryptonite." The song spent 7 weeks at No.1 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart. It was overplayed but I don't care, when I love a song I never get tired of it. I'm truly loyal to what I like.

I remember this song. It's been AGES since I've last heard it.
