This was the follow-up to "Right Here Right Now." I liked it better.

I thought this song was pretty cool, though many people obviously got tired of it quickly. On Billboard, it peaked at #4, then fell to #23 the next week and #50 the week after that. Sort of reminiscent of the large chart drops back in 1982.

Really cool song, though not quite as good as "Right Here, Right Now".

Touching on talk in the Chart Discussion thread about Hot 100 peaks from May-November 1991, when Billboard was printing the Top 40 Radio Monitor and POS charts:
"Real Real Real" earned its No. 4 Hot 100 peak under the old methodology, though its BDS and SoundScan peaks were 30 and 67, respectively. One of the more striking differences.
In any event, not a bad lil' song.

Didn't know Jesus Jones had another hit as I knew was "Right Here, Right Now". Not a bad song actually.

I was like…if it’s sales and airplay were so low, how the hell did it get to,#4?!? Can you explain further or direct me to the thread you referenced above?

Billboard published both the BDS airplay and POS sales (SoundScan) charts starting with the May 25, 1991 issue (the BDS airplay chart starting in December 1990) in the magazine, and did not print the airplay and sales charts used for the Hot 100 from that point until late November, which is when Billboard started using those new charts for the Hot 100. Thus, for six months, readers saw airplay and sales charts in the magazine that were not yet used to compile the Hot 100.
On a related note- back in the day, radio stations and stores would rank singles and send their charts to Billboard, who would assign point values to each position, add them up (bigger markets carrying more weight, I believe) and come up with the charts.
Hope that helps some. :)
