Janet has had so many #2's on the Hot 100. I would love to see a list of artists with the most #2's.

Keep in mind that Janet blocked Aaron Hall's I Miss You from getting #1 on the R&B chart. If I'm not mistaking R. Kelly's protege Changing Faces dethroned it...with Stroke You Up.

Hmmmm - I thought Janet had more. Very cool, though.

Any Time, Any Place pushed Madonna out of #2.

I love the R. Kelly remix the original version is too long and boring. I used to hear a lot on KKBT in Los Angeles in 1994. When mainstream urban radio was worth listening to.

I prefer the album version. Was there ever a radio edit made from it?

I Just download the remix and I'm listening to it right now. It still sounds like it came out yesterday. I miss the 90's.

I just HAD to bump this thread.
This song came on my iPod last week and I just sat and listened. One day I plan to make sweet, sweet dirty love to this song.

I prefer the album version. Was there ever a radio edit made from it? Yeah. The "Jam & Lewis radio mix" found on the CD single is a radio/single edit of the album version.

Sexy song. It's unfortunate that pretty much all her greatest songs were the ones that barely didn't top.
I hate I Swear even more, knowing two of the songs it blocked out.

One of my favorite Janet tracks. So sexy. The album version is superior to the R. Kelly remix, though I enjoy that one too. I also enjoy the CJ Mackintosh remix from the janet. Remixed album.

I prefer the album version to the R. Kelly mix, too.
And that video? HAWT!

The remix is so much better!
Did the remix get more airplay than the album version?

The album version is by far the best version of the song. The remix is completely unnecessary, but it's not terrible or anything.
Such an amazing song. One of her sexiest.

Love, love, love it!
The remix did well at urban radio. Some CHR/Rhythmic stations played the remix, too. Pop stations played the album/single version. I also heard the dance remix from time to time, too.

The album version is so sensual and smooth whereas the R. Kelly version is too short and jarring. Shame this stalled at #2.

The R.KELLY Remix gets a lot of recurrent play on the sunday night slow down. I love both versions equally.

This quarantine has me digging through all my old maxis and singles. How did I forget about the D&D House Mix? Too cute. Giving me the sultry dance mood I needed. This song is perfection.

Janet has had so many #2's on the Hot 100. I would love to see a list of artists with the most #2's. I donβt know about for all artists, but hereβs a list of some notables: Madonna - 6 (MG, CAC, EY, Cherish, IR, Frozen) The Carpenters - 5 (WOJB, RDAM, S, HEO, YOM) Janet - 4 (LWA, RN, CBTM, ATAP) Mariah - 4 (CLG, EL, Loverboy, SIO) En Vogue - 3 (HO, MLYNGGI, DLGL)...no #1s π’ Michael Jackson - 2 (RR, TGIM) Whitney Houston - 1 (HH)

I like the R. Kelly remix a lot better and I'd rather listen to that instead of the overly long album version, but the latter doesn't suck.
