27 years ago today, the double A side single "Any Time, Any Place"/"And On And On" reached its peak on the Hot 100 at No.2 for a single week. On the R & B Singles chart it was on its 3rd of 10 weeks at No.1. I love the original album version and the Jam & Lewis short edit is the one I usually listen to. The R. Kelly edit that Shadoe Stevens used to play on his American Top 40 was never of my liking.
Can we put the R. Kelly remix to rest to stop giving money to that pedo?
Does he still get paid for this remix?
I prefer the original anyway.
