This sounds sooo cheesy in retrospect.

This song sounds so dated now...It's OK...I don't have any memories of it, though.

I really liked it in early 1996. I still spin it every now and then.

The first rap song I completely loved.. Is this his only single? I remember hearing about him getting arrested in London or something. 'Tain't rap, McGee!

I'm not a fan of this. Just where was he returning from anyway? Up there with Jimmy Ray as one of the most egotistical one-hit wonder songs. Well, it wasn't exactly his first hit single in the UK. So it was a return after a period of absence. The world isn't confined to the North American continent you know. >:( Great song nonetheless

This is still a great song. I loved it then and I still like it now. Same here... one of my HAC's still plays it regularly. Still sounds great on the radio!

This song is still a 90's favorite. I remember wondering where the hell it came from or how it was charting even back in 1997, then I grew to really like it. I'm pretty sure he was and is still in jail. The song was also hilariously enough, about him returning from jail.

This was a big hit from what I remember. They use to play this song a lot on WKTU, Z100 and other New York radio stations back in the 90's.

Same here, areyouready. Not necessarily keen on the "mack" theme, but I loved the sound of it. :)

I used to hear this on 92.3 The Beat & Power 106 every hour back in 1997 along with Urban AC KJLH.

The best one-hit wonder of 1997.

I love it. One of my favorites singles of its year. I like these kind of long, smooth grooves.

This is one of those weird songs that when it comes on EVERYONE loses their sh*t. Of course it was a hit at the time and I remember hearing it quite a bit, but I don't remember people being obsessed with it back then. Nostalgia and time have been very kind to it.
That being said, it's still a jam. I always loved it because of his terrible in all the right ways vocals.

An all-time 90's favorite sampling an all-time all-time favorite (Chuckii Booker's "Games"):

I loved this song back in the day. Always heard it on B96 in 1997 and I think WGCI played it too. One of my favorite R&B/Urban jams of the 1990s.

Got nu life from The Masked Singer!
Though I think part of the reason why it's so catchy and beloved is it stole uses the same Genius of Love beat sample as Mariah's "Fantasy"

Great song...didn't know what it was called or who it was by until somewhat recently but it's definitely a 90's classic
