I always loved this song because it sounded and still sounds totally different than anything else. The orchestral arrangement is really good. Loved it and still do.

I like it. It was on AT10 recently as a former #1 on this date.

Not only is this one of my favorite slow jams of all time, but it's also amongst my favorite songs of all time in general.

Vanessa Williams was the thang back in the late 80's early 90's. she recorded a couple of number 1 hits during that time including this one. I use to Love this song. I remember she tried to come back out in 1997 and flopped big time. Vanessa Williams is also the former Miss America winner but her crown was taken away because they found out she modeled for some penthouse magazine or playboy one of the two. After that incident she released her 1st album. I love Vanessa Williams. Her best album is The Comfort Zone.

I liked it at first and then I listened to the song , then liked it 50% less. In addition to that it recieved too much airplay so I really disliked it. I did however like her follow-up, "Just For Tonight", which hit number 2 on the CHR/Pop charts and mine as well.

It's good. Overplayed, but good.

Love it. One of the best ballads of the early 90's, I remember this when it was out actually (I was 9 at the time).

I despised this song immensely when it came out, so overplayed and the first line "sometimes the snow comes down in June" drove me bananas!
However, with the passing of time, this song has grown on me, and I think it's rather pretty now.

It's a nice-enough, pleasant track- I had The Comfort Zone on cassette. One of these days I'll get one of those Vanessa Williams compilations.

Despite the fact that it was the biggest hit from the album (and her biggest hit in general), it's my least favorite single released from The Comfort Zone.

Not my favorite single from Vanessa Williams, but I do enjoy this one and glad it was a huge hit for her. This is her only Hot 100 #1, right?

Formulaic and corny ballad, but I love it. "Running Back to You" is probably my favorite single of hers.

This is actually the first song by Vanessa Williams I ever heard - I used to think she was just an actress - and liked it, and her voice, instantly. The song was apparently offered to several artists (I think one of them was Barbra Streisand) but it kept being turned down until it ended up to Vanessa. From songfacts: Great, classic 90's ballad.

One of my favorite songs ever. Still holds. "Love Is" is a very close second to this among her catalogue, though. Both songs, incidentally, ranked as back-to-back AC #1s of the year for 1992 and 1993. I could swear, though, that I remember hearing this song on the radio one day as a kid when the snow actually came down in June. It wouldn't entirely be out of nothing, either, thanks to Mt. Pinutabo blowing its top the year before*. *I distinctly remember having a VERY cold summer sometime before 1993; this must be it.

CHEESE. And my least favorite single from The Comfort Zone, but I still love it. Mainly for nostalgic reasons. 1992 was such an amazing year for music.

CHEESE. And my least favorite single from The Comfort Zone, but I still love it. Mainly for nostalgic reasons. 1992 was such an amazing year for music. Yup, Running Back To You, The Comfort Zone, Just For Tonight, and Work To Do all run circles around this several times over. 1992 might be my favorite year ever for music, especially if the works from '91 that were still going are counted (including this album). This is good for this type of ballad, it's just that this type of ballad in general hasn't aged well to the present day.

Easily my fave single from The Comfort Zone. One of my all time fave Vanessa songs since childhood. The melody still takes my breath away.

Was overplayed a lot in several stations in my market throughout the years (B96, WGCI, V103, Lite FM 93.9, 100.3, 101.9 the Mix, and defunct-WNUA smooth jazz) A very memorable song indeed.
