So far, I would say that this is Evanescence's signature song.
Bring Me to Life was a misleading way to introduce them while My Immortal showed that they have a softer side, it was Going Under that proved what they were all about. Great vocals from Amy, and I love the guitar solo from Ben Moody.

So far, I would say that this is Evanescence's signature song. ??? I thought this was alright, but it sounds like "Bring Me To Life" with less of a hook.

Evanescence's signature song? Are you kidding me? Their signature song is either "Bring me to life" or my "My Immortal." This was a flop.

By signature song, I don't mean the song that they will be remembered for but the one that defines their true sound.
It's surely not rap metal or sappy rock ballads.

This song sucks. I wish they had gone straight to My Immortal.

Nope. It went top 5 at Alternative, and I believe top 10 at Rock and Active Rock.

I've charted (and thus, liked) all of Evanescence's releases except their last one which I can't even remember its name. "Going Under" has the highest peak of any Evanescence songs on my chart, but "Bring Me To Life" has the most weeks in the top 3 and "My Immortal" the most longevity.

Loved this song. But I couldnt find a song I disliked on "Fallen". I think it was a great choice for a second single

I have the charts from that time, and that number is indeed correct. It actually spent multiple weeks at # 30. Chart run: 39-33-34-33-32-30-30-31-31-30-31-30-30-33-35-44-48-48-48-49 20 weeks on, so it actually went recurrent as well.

I must have a horrible memory.. EDIT: I figured it out after looking into this big stack of papers from back when I printed charts (and this isn't even all I have: I noticed I was thinking about "Everybody's Fool," which peaked at #47 I am pretty sure.

This is one of my all-time favorties! Too bad it didn't get more airplay in the U.S.

This song is hot, and I love her performance of it on the Paris concert DVD.

This happens to be my all time favorite song. Three years after I first heard and I still listen to it regularly. Its chart run on pop was such a shame...it was pretty big internationally though and on modern rock radio.
