For a little while this dramatic song looked like it might cross over and be the new "Kiss The Rain" or something. It sped up to about #30 on the pop charts, then hit a wall and vanished.
I think the problem was that Maria had no profile whatsoever. Who was she? Where was she from? I have no idea. I wonder where she is now?

Wasn't this out in the 2000's? I know the title sounds familiar, but I don't remember squat about it. You're definitely right about having no profile. I think I remember liking it.

I liked it enough to buy her album. I wanna say she was Swedish or Norweigan.
Loved the piano intro to this song.

2003 it came out. I know that's against the rules of this forum, but this song is pretty much totally forgotten so i'm hoping the mods will let it slide.

For me, it brings back sad memories - the end of the AT40 Era with Casey Kasem. :(. Another low-charting song that was popular at the time was by Kiley Dean (Britney's backup singer) but I don't remember the name of the song.

I liked it enough to buy her album. I wanna say she was Swedish or Norweigan. She is Danish of Guyanese descent.
