This is easily in my top 5 Paula singles. Another big hit from her multi-Platinum "Spellbound" album. #6 hot 100.
This is a really catchy orchestral ballad. The instrumentation reminds me a little of "Walking On Broken Glass" by Annie Lennox. Paula wasn't QUITE in the same league vocally though. ;)

Her voice was.... But this is still a great song. I really liked it, despite her inability to carry it.

i think she carried the song very well with her vocals. u dont need a whitney voice to carry a ballad well. I think she did well with it. i love this song, I was just listening to it today.

Love it! Despite her vocal limitations, I think she delivered the song just fine.
The video to this was amazing as well. She was one of the best video artists, which is the main reason why I wish her career hadn't fallen off (the fact that she made catchy music certainly didn't hurt either).

They're releasing some kind of video collection next year. I can't wait. I agree with you on the videos - she's one of the best video artists ever. My Love Is For Real (the video and song) is my shizzle!

Definitely not my favorite Paula song, or even in my Top 5, but I like it.

I love this song. Her best ballad ever. Even better than "Rush , Rush" Anything's better than "Rush Rush"! So glad that Bryan Adams came along and prevented that song from being the number one song of 1991! As for "Blowing Kisses In The Wind", it's another song that sort of got cheated by what is IMO a much better song. The song was waiting at number two for two weeks as Michael Bolton had his run at #1 with "When A Man Loves A Woman", but when that song fell out of #1, Boyz II Men leapfrogged over them with "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday". And a week after that, Michael Jackson grabbed the gold with "Black Or White", but BKITW was done by then. Now, I think it's a good song, but I got tired of it quite fast back in its day.

The only slow song I liked from her was "Rush Rush".
To answer that question, it's been said that Paula is supposedly releasing a new album in Summer 2005.

Love the song and the video.
Come on Paula... one more album, one more!
I think the only single I didn't like from her was "Will You Marry Me?"

I liked it, but I always felt it should have been sung by someone else.

Kind of cheese and her songs here on out became insignificant in the long run. I like WYMM better.

This is such a lovely song. If this was released right after "Rush Rush", it would have hit #1, I think.
