It was a #1 smash on the pop and AC charts in 1982. I still hear it a lot on the radio but I still like it.

Yeah this is more tolerable to me than Look Away. I think my fave sap-era Chicago song would easily be "If You (Bereave) Me Now."

Good song, but I never did like that more uptempo piece at the end.

I love it, and I think Az Yet did a very good job covering it in 1998.

Good song, but I never did like that more uptempo piece at the end. That uptempo piece was "Get Away."

Wow, I didn't think that many stations played that part of the song anymore However, having heard "Getaway" everytime when the song was popular, the part where the fade was in the single version didn't make sense to me.

I really love this song.
I didn't like Az Yet one that much.

I absolutely loved "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" when it first came out. However, being as it's one of the most overplayed songs of the 80s, I'm tired of it at this point.
It was the #2 CHR/Pop song of the year, behind "Open Arms" by Journey, another song overplayed to the point of burnout.

Probably the only 1980s-era Chicago/Peter Cetera song that I really like as I prefer their 70s material. I'm also aware of AZ Yet's cover version in 1997 which also featured Peter Cetera. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEwNcnklcsk

Debuted at #75 on the Billboard Hot 100 40 years ago this week in 1982!

This is okay, but the Chicagoโs best stuff was before Terry Kathโs death.

Without a doubt my favorite song of theirs and a classic track in my eyes.
