Woohoo! LOVE this song (act-shawn, I got so much to give!). This is one of those feel-good songs of the 1970's, right up there with "Dancing In The Moonlight" by King Harvest.

I hate this song with a passion. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

This song was amusing when it was featured in the hilarious Dracula comedy Love at First Bite. Without the movie it's boring IMO.

This is the EPITOME of tacky and flamboyant disco trash... one of the reasons disco gets such a bad rap these days.
{Falls silent... hear stampede coming}
Ahhhhhh watchout, it's a hoarde of drag queens!

Hey now! Leave Lil' Kim and her tacky self alone, LOL.
If she didn't look a hot mess all the time, the world just wouldn't be right.

Guys, this song is great BECAUSE it's silly trash.
When did having a sense of humor become so rare??? ;)

It was in a commercial (assuming it wasn't another song with the title in its lyrics). That's all I know about it.

It could have been another song with the title in the lyrics. Ever heard "Let's Go" by the Cars? ("I love the nightlife baby!")

It was in a commercial (assuming it wasn't another song with the title in its lyrics). That's all I know about it. Wasn't on one of those long-distance commercials, like MCI or something?

I didn't like this song either, disco definitely had its chintzy cheesy shit, and thats what this was. Now "Dancer" by Gino Soccio, or "Disco Nights" by GQ...

On "Pop-Up Video," they said she damaged her hair by bleaching it so much that she had to wear wigs after the song came out.
Good song though.

Featured in an episode of "The Simpsons." Homer was dancing to it.

It accomplished two things: it started & ended her career...

She may not have been that great of a singer, but this is a fun song to dance to. The remix by Real Rapino which was done for the Adventures Of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert was really nice. It really helped the song and made it better.

I didn't like this song either, disco definitely had its chintzy cheesy s**t, and thats what this was. Now "Dancer" by Gino Soccio, or "Disco Nights" by GQ... It was the cheese that ruined disco, although electro was going to eventually lay it to waste, anyway. GQ, Soccio, smokin'!

I'd probably enjoy this a million times over if there was a different vocalist attached to it instead.

Even though her voice is awful, I always liked this one. I want some ACT-SHUN!

The only worthwhile use I ever saw from this was in that episode of It's Always Sunny... when it's playing in the background in a flashback where the love of Frank's life chooses drugs over him.
