A massive flop for her, but still an okay song :)

This is probably my least favorite song she ever released.

I love this song. I still don't understand why it wasn't a hit, since mushy love power ballads were still doing ok when this came out.
Nice video, she looks good in it. The videow as expensive and was never seen except for a few times during BET's Midnight Love.

This is one of those hits that takes me back to 2001, which I talked about in the "Songs that make you want to go back to when they were popular" topic. It was one of the few reasons I liked AT20's new chart, since it wouldn't have been on the chart anywhere near as long as it was had they stayed with the R&R chart. I even remember when Casey played the song as an extra on the Top 60 of 2000. Several people got to hear the song for the very first time then. The song sounds very much like another song I've heard before, but I can't remember which one.

Boring, plain, dull... that sums it up for me.

This has a bit of a latin sound to it; reminded me a bit of Gloria Estefan. I didn't like the track; found it really boring. After an upbeat track like "He Wasn't Man Enough", I'm not surprised this bombed.

Josh is absolutely correct:
"Just Be A Man About It"
Peaked at #1 on R&R Urban AC for 5 weeks Pekaed at #1 on R&R Urban for 3 weeks

Yeah this didn't do anything for me. In fact, I think its part of the reason why I wasn't even interested when she released her album last fall.

Thought it was kind of boring but I heard a dance remix that I kinda liked.

The HQ2 Club Mix is amazing. The original is not.

This may have had a similar sound to "Un-break My Heart", but it wasn't nearly as good.

I liked "Un-break My Heart" but this one wasn't much good at all.

The HQ2 Club Mix is amazing. The original is not. I totally agree, I love the remix. I was glad that she chose to perform the remix at the AMAs while wearing rolls of toilet paper.

A beautiful song. Surprised it didn't catch on in the US, but it was a big hit worldwide. She has done a lot of great songs, and I'm sorry she's not nearly as big as she used to be.

I was gonna say the same thing. Reminds me of that awkward days of AT20. I believe the song re-entered a time or two. Mediocre at best.
Madonna had a beautiful song on "Like A Prayer" called "Spanish Eyes." I think it was also on the B-side of "Oh Father."

I love this song... it's one of my favourite Toni songs. I have the single and the remixes are great too. Loved the video as well.

This is by far my least favorite Toni single. It really isn't a bad song but it is so boring and forgettable. I am really not surprised it bombed. The remixes were hot though

I think sometimes trying to recreate a previous hit can lead to a flop and I think that’s what happened here. I think Diane Warren had a pretty cool idea with this one and I love the lyrics, however they certainly didn’t appeal to the masses like “Un Break My Heart” did. David Foster’s production is surprisingly weak….and for me, that’s what hurts the song the most. The remixes are hot though…a number one dance smash for Diane and Toni

I loved this song so much. I really enjoyed the album version but the mix she performed on the AMA's was amazing! It totally deserved to do better. Maybe if that remix was released it would have been a decent hit for her.

I love this one. The video was a little too gratitous for me cos I did not expect Toni to do something like that, but in all, it's still a good song.

I hated this song but it has grown on me lately. But it deserved to flop.

I love it. It sort of reminds me of Mariah Carey's "My All, which is another favorite." The video, while a bit on the visual-interpretation-of-romance-novel side, is gorgeous.

This was a beautiful ballad IMO, but me thinks it was missing something. Possibly a Guitar solo with Carlos Santana?
