Just heard this as a recurrent (gold) on myu CHR Pop station, the song is around 10 years old already! 8 to be exact, but still. I remember this being one of the biggest surprises to hit the top 40, ever. This would be similar to if Garbage pullled a #1 ballad about four years ago, or the Yeah Yeah Yeah's doing it next year, what else?

JAM! It was my favorite song ever in 2nd grade (I think). I remember calling up my friend when it was on the radio once, not knowing that he already had the CD.
I thought it wasn't "cool" to like No Doubt, so despite wanting "Tragic Kingdom" more than anything in the world, I never asked for it.
Last week, I got it for $3 on Amazon. It's O.K.

I like that song. I still listen to it sometimes. "Don't Speak" is my favorite song by No Doubt. It's even better than "Hella Good".

This is probably the best #1 song of the 1990's.

This is probably the best #1 song of the 1990's. Not sure if it's the best, but it's definitely up there in my mind. Classic...I love it.

It was a good song, but way overrated. I started liking it years after it came out.

Anyway, this is one of those mega songs, that will always always be remembered (and there are only so many of those; I'd say some years don't even have one). For now, at least for me, it's still suffering from being grossly overplayed. In another few years I'll be able to listen to it again.

I hate it because it's so depressing.

Love it! A great song. It was my introduction to No Doubt. Gwen is soooo cool! Love that she is the lead singer and songwriter in a cool rock band!

I thought this was tremendously overrated. I thought they've had WAY better songs than this. But I understand why it was so popular.

This is a great song, but I can't deny that it was massively overplayed. Still brings back good memories though.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs. It is so powerful- the way Gwen sings it is absolutely heart-wrenching. No Doubt is one of my very favorite bands. They are so unique and energetic.
My favorite No Doubt songs:
1. Oi To The World 2. Don't Speak 3. Spiderwebs 4. Bathwater 5. Just A Girl

This was one of No Doubt's best songs! I didn't like it much when it came on because it was played tooooooooo much. Now I like it.

This is by far the best song they've made. It's strange listening to it now since I'm so used to hearing the rhythmic/dancey type of songs from Gwen instead of something more normal and simple like this.

Awesome; I was under the impression I was the only person in the world who loved that song. Anyways, "Dont Speak" is definitely one of the best songs I've ever heard. I was in like 3rd grade (or around that time, 'cause I think Griego posted the wrong year or something) when I heard this and I thought it was beautiful. One of the first songs that introduced me to music.

I just took this song off my mp3 player because I was getting sorta tired of listening to it, lol. But, yeah, this is a good song. I was only 6 when it became a hit, though!
