This actually got as high as #3 on the hot 100!
I love Samantha. She made some great pop. I like her cover of "I Only Wanna Be With You".
She was actually much more popular in America than here, where this song peaked at #31. However another single from the same album, "Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now" went to #8 here and bombed in America.

Best song title EVER! I think I still have the Maxi-cassette single, this song flopped and did not chart at all! As a matter of fact Ibought the single w/o hearing it first, what a disappointment. |

I replied to that Hurt Me Hurt Me song, now I wanna respond to the actual topic. I used to like it at first but then it got played out. Full Force did a incredible job on this one blending in her personality and still making a great hit record. Too bad this never made the R&B charts, however it came close. There were a couple of radio stations spinning this record enough for it to be eligible for Billboard Hot Black Singles chart in 1988.

There were two single versions of this song... I like the mix that begins with her singing "Naughty girls need love..." The one that begins "Maybe... just maybe" seems like it has some choppy edits in it.

lmao this song is kinda whack lyrically, yet I still enjoy this song.. idk maybe it's because I have a slight biased affinity towards the Full Force signature production on this track

I really love this one. It's so catchy and fun. The U.S. single version was a unique mix not released anywhere else. The Full Force House mix included a sample of Boney M's "Ma Baker."
Samantha recorded a new version of this in 2006 for the Naked Fame soundtrack with production by Solar City (Scott Anderson). 3 mixes of it appeared on a promo CDr.

The moment the Full Force lads come into the song, they make magic happen. Samantha and Sabrina were the reason most of my mates in school rushed home after classes to see music videos on TV haha! I reckon "Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)" is a great Pop song. I love every second of it. Samantha may not the best singer in the world but she exudes sensuality, cheekiness, and naughtiness in her songs which are basically about, well, that! I mean, "Touch Me ( I Want Your Body)" and "(Hurt Me! Hurt Me!) But the Pänts Stay on."

This is okay but my favorite track from her was "I Wanna Have Some Fun". Pretty sure this was played as an 80s flashback on B96 back when I listened to that station back in the day.
