Yup, Ulij20, I'm on a 1983 kick as you mentioned in a previous thread. Here's a good example of a hit doing much better in R&R than on Billboard. Number 17 R&R, vs. somewhere in the 30's on Billboard. I thought this was a good follow-up to "Don't Cry." I actually liked this one better. But I liked "Go" best of all the Asia songs.

This is my favorite Asia song. Such a shame it didn't do any better than #17. It should have been the one to spend eight weeks at #1 instead of "Every Breath You Take". Let that song peak at #17. Oh well, at least it hit the Top 20. "Countdown America", the only countdown that I listened to back in 1983, was a Top 30 back then, so had "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes" done as well as it did on BB, I wouldn't have heard it as much.

the tune peaked at #34 in 1983 and was Asia's last top 40 hit
