This was easily Lindsey's biggest solo hit, making it all the way to #9 on the Hot 100 in early 1982. Totally relaxing soft rock song by him with fantastic light guitar work. It went to #3 at CHR/Pop.

I like it.
My favorite solo song by him is "Holiday Road" from National Lampoon's Vacation.

I like the way he's counting at the beginning "a-twoo, a-threee, a-fowah!" And you're right, the song is very relaxing.

Great song! I've got it on cassette. I think the album is titled "Law And Order." I've also got "Go Insane."

Yeah i love Go Insane too, I have Trouble on the original 45. I also liked Big Love by Fleetwood Mac which he did. Unfortunately their recent double disc CD has a crappy live version of it.

I was just thinking of this song yesterday. Too bad radio stations don't play it anymore. It was also in "Just One of the Guys."

I always thought that part was kind of embarrassing. When I was making a "long distance drive" tape for my car about 14 years ago, I cut that part out.

Ahh Ahh Ahh I think I'm in trouble. Very great music in this song. I like just about everything Lindsey Buckinham has ever composed. You want to hear a great CD? listen to his 1992 "Out Of The Cradle," I can't ever remember a CD with that many good tracks on it. Last Year Fleetwood Mac had a Top 10 AC hit called "Peacekeeper." This song is another good example of Lindsey's work.

I believe it got to #2 on the R&R pop chart. I enjoy this song very much.

Great song from a terrific performer, who I saw solo in 1993. Do you know he's only put out three solo CD's in the 25 years that "Trouble" came out? Law & Order (1981), Go Insane (1984), Out Of The Cradle (1992)...

Just saw the video. Looks like Mick Fleetwood made a cameo.

Yeah, I remember hearing one of the ex-Fleetwood Mac members' songs on AT40 and Casey remarking something about them going up the chart side by side for the past few weeks. I don't think either song got as high as they did on R&R (I'm pretty sure "Trouble" ran out of gas at #9).

love it <3, though his solo interpretation of "Big Love" will always be the best thing ever to me (in regards to his work on the solo side of his career)

His voice sounds similar to Roy Orbison's on this.

One of the hooks sounds very similar to Gypsy.

Pleasant, but still doesn't come close to his best work with FM.

This song never gets any airplay on any of the 80's stations in my area, despite the fact it was a top 10 hit. However, they are finally spinning "Holiday Road" despite its' failure on the pop chart.

Didn't know this existed until I heard it on old 1982 AT40 w/Casey Kasem shows. This is a good one.
