This is the second of two songs by Scandal that just missed the top 40 portion of the Billboard Hot 100, but did chart on R&R. This song peaked at #37. It was pretty good, but I personally preferred "Hands Tied", to which "Beat Of A Heart" was the follow-up.

I like it. My second favorite Scandal single behind "The Warrior". Peaked at #10 on Billboard's Rock chart in 1985.
