I love this song. It's very sad.

You may also recognise it from the film "Girl, Interrupted". It's the song Daisy plays on repeat when she hangs herself.

The End Of The World got to #2 in 1963. Not bad for the country singer and Opry Member who once married to Ralph Emery and later married a member of NRBQ
