I like it.
Original pressings of the Funky Divas CD featured a sample of the Sugarhill Gang's "8th Wonder" in this song. I'm guessing there must've been some legal trouble though, since the sample disappeared by the time this was released as a single.

The original version sounds blah, while the single version was off the hook! The entire single (the whole nine yards) was excellent. Terry Ellis' vocals achieved it all! Jam!

vocals led by Terry Ellis not accurate. Terry and Cindy did lead vocals. Their parts were very much equal. Cindy also did the spoken part of the song. So she actually had a larger part in the song. She and Terry also alternated all the adlibs. Lets get it right. It could have been a big hit.

I can't believe how sad some of you kids are... ridiculous. This was a very good track. That entire album really makes me wonder HOW they just fell off the face of the earth so rapidly. They can outsing DC any day. Michael New Orleans www.michaelduvic.com

This was a favorite of mine when it came out. I like it now, but not as much as "Givin Him somethin...", "Give It Up, Turn it Loose", or "Hooked on Your Love" from this album.

Didn't know this existed until I heard it on an 1993 episode of a long-defunct countdown show "American Dance Traxx" on MixCloud. I never actually heard it on the radio when it originally came out. WGCI probably played it but B96 didn't even though they played the group's bigger hits ("My Lovin", "Free Your Mind", "Give Him Something He Can Feel", etc.). As for this song itself, it's okay but I prefer several of their bigger hits over it.
