Oh my god I can't stop listening to this song right now. These kids couldn't sing for shit but this song is awesome, the chorus is genius.

I liked both this and "Playground". Far superior to Kris Kross in the kiddie rap category.

Reminded me a lot of "Poison" by Bell Biv DeVoe.
Wasn't one of these kids like 8 or something making him (one of) the youngest members of a group ever?

Does anyone know of a website that has the lyrics to the rap at the end (You know, "Yo Dallas Man?" "What up?" "How about doing us a little favor?", etc.) The websites with the lyrics that I've seen stop at "Now remember Iesha, only U can keep this, peace".

I couldn't stand this song or the group. I remember that "Ishea" had pretty good sales. The single was certified gold, but only hit number 21 on the R&R chart.

These kids really couldn't sing at all. If you want to hear how terrible they sounded, you have to listen to their attempt at a slow jam: "Jealous Girl."

Both of ABC's songs "Iesha" and "Playground" fall into the category of pre-11/30/91 Billboard Hot 100 songs which hit the Top 10 that I hardly ever heard on the radio. As was already mentioned, most of its chart points were due to sales, but even so, back then, almost all of the songs in the Top 10 of the BB Hot 100 were songs I heard quite a bit on the radio.

It was the jam back in the day, but looking back at it, it wasn't that good.

Didn't like this at all.
Hit #6 on the R&B chart.

My favorite song by them, definitely! It literally takes me back to my elementary school days on the playground.

Reminded me a lot of "Poison" by Bell Biv DeVoe. Wasn't one of these kids like 8 or something making him (one of) the youngest members of a group ever? Probably because the backing track in Iesha is more or less the same as BBD's Poison. Kinda gives the song a sinister undercurrent that probably isn't needed.

I still remember this song. Was played on B96 and probably WGCI when I was younger. Cheesy but it was their best song.
