Songs like this make me glad they can't be successful anymore. Arguably the worst (aside from IDWTMAT) and the least-liked song from their sell-out era. But, it scored them a hit on Rick Dees.

I actually don't think it's that bad.

I thought it was a funny song. It's nothing like their good stuff from "Toys In The Attic". It's both sad and funny how some groups and musicians sounded better when they were doing drugs.
I don't mind listening to "Pink" when I need a laugh or two... and you can't argue with the message, it's true.

I don't care for this one, but glad they can't be successful? Why? It's the failure of their good stuff to make it that causes them to write crap like this in the first place.

I actually liked this when it first came out...good track for a few laughs...
But there's no point comparing this to classic Aerosmith. Their awesome older material is lightyears away from this in terms of quality...anyone can see that.

Yeah, I think it's kind of funny as well. Sure, it's not classic Aerosmith, but their newer stuff is exactly why people are supposed to start lowering their expectations after awhile. It's decent IMO.

All I'm gonna say about this is that I'm glad it's been years since I've heard it.

None of Aerosmith's post-"Get a Grip" singles have stood out to me, at least not in a positive way. But this is probably my favorite of theirs from that period.

"Pink, like the thing on your cherry"
I like the song, though they could've done without the huge woman in the video.

Actually, I think the singles from this album were quite good..... Hole In My Soul was quite delightful...
This song, while the least strongest of the singles, was still pretty fun to listen to and the video was entertaining....

In one of my classes in 7th grade, a "first day" activity was to think of a phrase, then pick somebody in class. That someone had to say all phrases currently on the list then add a new one. About midway through, some boy added the lyric "pink is the sheets we lay on". At the time, I thought it was very weird to add that in, but I wouldn't learn till years later that that was actually a lyric from this song. 7th grade was the 1997-98 school year for me, so that puts that class at exactly when this song was out.
I've only heard this maybe once or twice, and what I can remember about it wasn't that bad. It scraped the Top 20 on R&R, peaking two weeks ago this month in '98 at 20.

I like it especially since it's named after the best color ever!

"Falling in Love" was the Nine Lives song I wasn't too into, but I did enjoy Pink. Glad it had a little bit of longevity on the chart despite a low peak.

I like it. So catchy. I remember how popular the video was and was surprised when I learned this didn't chart better.
Peaked at #27 on the Hot 100 and #1 Rock. Won the Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1999.

I didn't realize so many people hated this song LOL. I wonder if my perspective is different because I was like, 12-13? when it came out. So, it was my first introduction to Aerosmith and I enjoyed it a lot. Yeah after growing up a bit their classic stuff is obviously better, but I still have a soft spot for this song.

I've always loved this. Remember seeing the video a lot back in the late 90s.

Pink is what would happen if Steel Panther was rated PG13 instead of R.
