Great song! This was his best song IMO. I remember playing this quite a bit during the fall of 1986. When I recorded AT40 each week in the UK, that was the only I could hear this song, practically.

Good song from Eddie and Ronnie Specter, but not my favorite from him. That would be "I'll Get By".

Good song from Eddie and Ronnie Specter, but not my favorite from him. That would be "I'll Get By". "I'll Get By" and "Endless Nights" are both vert underrated Money classics... both should have charted higher.

Eh...not a bad song, but I much prefer "Shakin' " and this song's follow-up, "I Wanna Go Back".

I like it a lot, but still prefer I think I'm in love and Walk on water. I wonder what's the female voice.

Oh wow! Didn't know a Ronette was singing here :o She elevates the song with her vocal performance for sure. Great combo

This is a classic. I always forget it only peaked at #4 on the Hot 100. โShakinโ is my personal favorite by him, but I adore this one too.

Good stuff. Supposedly, he would only do the song if Ronnie sang on it.

Although it's easily one of his most recognizable hits, Eddie actually didn't really like the song! I love it, it's a classic, and the interpolation here of "Be My Baby" is nothing short of brilliant.

34 years ago today, "Take Me Home Tonight" peaked at No.4 on the Hot 100. I've always loved this record, the inclussion of Ronnie Spector makes it perfect to me. And you've got that '80s sax bit, which seemed like a must on Pop records back then. And while it has a simple video. I love how they show sexy Ronnie's silhouette walking to the stage where Eddie is singing - and "playing" the saxophone.
